Our governance structure
Lincoln School is a not-for-profit association. Every cent earned is either spent on improving educational programs, infrastructure, or innovation and entrepreneurship programs.
Assembly of Associates
Lincoln School is governed by the assembly of associates. Every family gets to be associated by a representative that will participate in the assemblies or be represented by a power of attorney.
The assembly of associates meets once a year to receive annual Presidency, Treasury, and Fiscal reports, elect the Board of Directors and vote on important decisions regarding all school aspects.
The Board of Directors can request extraordinary assemblies of associates at any time if the need arises.
Committees
Lincoln also has board committees that can be composed of associates and Lincoln Parents. We have permanent and Ad Hoc committees that help achieve goals and strategic objectives. Board committees respond directly to the board of directors.
Associates who would like to contribute to the work done in the committees can find more information about the nomination process in the Parent Portal.
The Finance Committee is in charge of ensuring the financial health of the institution by making sure that policies are complied with. It also ensures there is a financial balance between the Institution's income and expenses.
The Transportation Committee is its subcommittee and it advises the Board of Directors on everything related to student transportation, such as schedules, costs, safety, schedules, etc.
