LINC
One of the strategic pillars of Lincoln School is the development of a comprehensive entrepreneurship education system to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in our students, equip them with the tools to navigate a constantly changing world, and empower them to make a positive impact on the local and global community. This system has been co-created in part thanks to our partnership with Babson College, a global leader in entrepreneurship education, and the participation of over 100 Lincoln teachers and collaborators who have been certified in Babson's entrepreneurship curriculum.
The components of this system include the development of an academic curriculum that integrates concepts, language, and tools into formal education from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. Additionally, the system includes a wide range of academic, theoretical, and practical activities that foster the development of students' capabilities.
As part of this process, Lincoln, in collaboration with international experts, has built the Lincoln Innovation Center (LINC), one of the most advanced innovation and makerspace centers in Central America. It features state-of-the-art facilities that will facilitate teaching, experimentation, collaboration, prototype development, communication, and the evolution of entrepreneurial ideas into projects capable of providing solutions to global challenges.
Through this methodology, Lincoln School promotes entrepreneurship education in its students and aims to collaborate with and develop programs for students from AASCA schools and public schools. The goal is to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and strengthen innovation capabilities to make a positive impact on local and global communities.
LINC will serve as a hub for programs and activities that have been developed over the past four years to complement and enhance the teaching of the entrepreneurial mindset in the classrooms. It will provide students with real and tangible entrepreneurial experiences and serve as a platform for sharing achievements with parents, the Lincoln community, and Costa Rican society.
