NJHS and NHS held ceremonies to add new members

The National Junior Honor Society (NHJS) and the National Honor Society (NHS) added new members after holding two ceremonies and swearing in students.

 

By joining these groups, students commit to maintain exemplary behavior, excellent academic performance, and participate in community service activities.

 These student societies motivate young people to become agents of change, taking leadership and solidarity principles to create projects to positively impact local and global communities.

 “It opens up the possibility of being considered a promoter of well-being, a manager of change in your environment, playing roles of leadership and assertive negotiation, in environments other than those you may experience in your daily life, generating an effect of empathy and sensitivity”, said Marisol Ramírez, NJHS sponsor.
