Morphosis Program: the dreams of 30 entrepreneurs begin to materialize
- Initiatives related to inclusion, sustainability, and tourism
- Embassies and NGOs supported initiative
The Morphosis program closed a chapter for 30 women who were trained in entrepreneurship after celebrating a graduation ceremony at the Lincoln School theater.
This program was ideated by Natalia Chavarría and Karina Knohr, both G11 students, who received the support of Lincoln School to promote the objectives of their initiative and connect them with organizations that helped promote the project.
“Seeing them so excited shows that there are people who want these courses. I feel that as a country we should all be able to grow together. Low-income people should also have opportunities to advance, grow, and improve”, said Karina Knohr.
After several weeks of preparation, the participants shared their business projects that target various market segments associated with inclusion, sustainability and tourism. This is a description of each project:
Practident
A product for personal use, Practident presents us with a practical and environmentally friendly solution, as well as accessible for the use of a dose of toothpaste.
Café con Huellas
Café con Huellas is a proposal for a space and business where your pet is the main guest.
I was also 20 years old
A social initiative that seeks to favor the elderly population. Through a line of decorative products with social messages, I also had 20 makes the population aware of the value of our older adults. By the way, have you called your grandmother today?
Costa Rica to the limit
Costa Rica to the limit invites us and offers the possibility of exploring the most remote corners of Costa Rica in a JEEP, where we can find the greatest biodiversity, also supporting the local economy of the area.
Nachitos
Nachitos allow us to bring to life the creativity of your children! Through free play, they put their imagination on paper and from there their own Nachito is born.
Iraima Ponte and Amalí Bustamante shared their experiences after being part of the Morphosis program, an initiative that they consider very valuable and that helped them to learn about discipline, empathy and solidarity values.
The Ambassador of Venezuela, María Faria, highlighted the participation of Lincoln School as a training platform for women of various nationalities who start stories of change to transform their environment and improve the economic condition of their families.
“These initiatives are important so that women who do not have facilities are trained and have a positive impact on the population. We join in contributing to women being part of the economic reactivation and inspiring others to be part of this process,” Faria said.
Liz Jerez, Consul of Colombia in Costa Rica, mentioned that the Morphosis program is a new way of creating opportunities for women who have faced obstacles and today are considering alternatives to move forward.
"Programs of this type are of great importance to us, creating dreams in women who have left behind the lands they were born and today need different ways of projecting themselves in life," said Jerez.
