Last August, two Lincoln families left excuses aside and decided to start a project that seeks the welfare of our pets. It is a product called Petgüel, dog food made from fresh ingredients with an optimal balance of 100% natural protein, water and fat, preserving its composition of vitamins and minerals.
This idea was developed by the Barquero Santacruz and Casafont Tinoco families, professionals in various fields, pet lovers and interested in improving the lives of our four-legged friends.
In the midst of the wake of intrigue left by the passage of the pandemic through our country, these families decided to take courage and believe in the potential of their brand.
"We have learned that will is power, and to start a project without excuses... we believe in our product, in our project and in a market that cares for and seeks the welfare of their pets," said Leonardo Barquero, founder of this venture.
Petgüel offers a variety of 3 recipes (Beef Ragu, Chicken Casserole and Pork Stew) free of artificial or chemical preservatives. As another feature, it offers 100% recyclable packaging, microwaveable and doy pack with zipper, convenient for storage.
"Being a moist food, with no preservatives or additives, we cook each recipe, freeze and sell our product frozen. Our product is a "Farm to Table" one, that is, from farm to table ready to eat," commented Sylvia Santacruz.
"It substantially improves digestion, since foods with high quality and natural ingredients contribute to a proper functioning of the digestive system, thanks to its great source of fiber from vegetables, fruits and legumes, helps prevent some diseases such as colon cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, among others," explained Nicole Tinoco.
