Since 2018, Lincoln School established a partnership with Babson College, the world's leading educational entrepreneurship model institution.
Babson's Entrepreneurial Thought & Action (ET&A) methodology began to be cultivated in the Lincoln Community from PK-G12 by using the principles in different projects and activities included in the curriculum, and also through the Entrepreneurial Program for Innovators and Changemakers (EPIC) course. In a short period of time, the harvest of knowledge has spread to places inside the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) and outside in places such as Conchal and Islita in Guanacaste.
Through this alliance, 45 Trojans y 35 Lincoln teachers have earned the EPIC certificate after completing a 15-module program. Thirteen Lincoln School teachers continued their studies and achieved Babson accreditation to train others to be EPIC facilitators.
In addition, this year 59 students from public schools located in Heredia, Guanacaste, and San José finished the EPIC course and 30 MEP teachers are currently training in the Yo Emprendedor organization.
A new stage of this alliance will begin next semester. Ninth-grade Lincoln students will go through the Babson Youth Impact Lab program as part of their academic subjects, and upon completion, they will receive the EPIC certificate.

When Learning Transcends
By taking the EPIC course, students acquire inspiration, ideation, implementation capacities and develop a product/service based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
Sometimes student projects have the potential to be transformed into ideas that take shape and materialize to make a positive contribution to society.
Some of these initiatives go through incubation or mentoring process by private universities and other organizations to promote our students' business models.

The Lincoln-Babson is moving into a consolidation phase, and new initiatives will be announced soon and will surprise the Lincoln community, as they will have an impact to promote social innovation in local communities.
